Hire Knebworth Village Hall

Knebworth Village Hall is available to hire for regular and one-off bookings. The Main Hall is suitable for large meetings, exercise classes, theatre productions and parties. The Committee Room is suitable for smaller group meetings or classes.

The hall is available to hire:

• Monday - Saturday, 8am - 11pm.
• Sundays, 8am - 10pm.

The hall has a well equipped kitchen, 24 6ft x 27" tables, 14 3ft x 27" tables, 180 adult chairs, 4 children's tables and 16 children's chairs.

Wi-fi is provided, and the main hall has a 3m sq projection screen, sound system and microphones.

There is a free on-site car park for hall users and the hall is 200m from Knebworth station.

The Main Hall is licensed for up to 200 people and has vaulted ceilings, a stage, and a sprung floor ideal for dance or exercise classes. This hall can accommodate bouncy castles up to 3m in height and a sound system available for hirer use by prior arrangement.

A hatch connects the hall to the kitchen to facilitate serving drinks or refreshments.

The Committee Room seats 30-40 people for meetings and can be used for smaller groups and classes. This room can be hired at a 50% discount if included in a Main Hall booking.

Kitchen facilities include a fridge, freezer, microwave, 6 burner commercial oven, constant hot water boiler, portable hot food cupboard (by prior agreement) and 100 place settings of cutlery and white crockery.

Use of the kitchen is prioritised for Main Hall hirers, but Committee Room hirers may be able to use the kitchen if not required by a Main Hall hirer or if shared usage has been agreed in advance. Alternatively the Committee Room has a small kitchenette with microwave and fridge.

The Village Hall has a Premises Licence which is administered by a Management Committee, authorising entertainment and the sale of alcohol between specific hours. Hirers intending to sell alcohol or engage in other licensable activities must adhere to the terms of this licence, and the terms and timings indicated in the Village Hall Hiring Agreement.
